01.05.2013, 6. day, 103 / 776 km, Freilassing

I get a small breakfast at the kiosk at the campground. Then it goes permanently up- and downhill to Mühldorf/Inn.
These ascents are a good practice for the following mountain passes.
Today the sun is shining. At first it is still cold, I have to wear jacket and long trousers. But after one hour I can take off the jacket, and after two hours also the long trousers. So it is more fun while biking.
I continue via Altötting and Kastl. Here a wind orchestra comes the way which is very good. Today is the 1st of May. Everywhere it is celebrated.
So also in Kirchberg after Tittmoning. I can barely pass by pushing my bike.
This region is simply beautiful; everywhere the dandelion is blooming an on the fields is new green. In the sunshine and with summerly temperature I can enjoy the trip much more than in the cold rain.
Today's destination is Freilassing, where the Stoltz family welcomes me heartily. I can dry my tent and my sleeping-bag. Even my clothes are washed, which is urgently necessary.
We haven't see us for a long time; I enjoy the good conversation very much.
If the weather permits it I will make the Tauern-pass tomorrow. However there are now clouds and I see lightnings and hear thunder.

New green on the fields

Now we finally know how to write it correctly

The may-tree is going to be risen (today is May 1st)

They all will become blowballs...
