30.04.2013, 5. day, 177 / 673 km, Taufkirchen/Vils

I must confess: breakfast was excellent.
The trip starts once more with many inclines, and in the morning it is still rather cold: 8°C (46°F). But it is dry, and it stays dry the whole day.
Sometimes the sun can be seen through the clouds, but it does not want to come out. Also my second wish is satisfied: it becomes warmer, 15°C (59 °F).
Slowly my old fitness is returning: my muscles like to cooperate again.
At Kinding I come into the beautiful Altmühl-Valley, at Beilngries I take a right, heading south.
I can remember the long incline from an earlier trip. After this comes Neustadt at the Danube river and then Landshut. Here all main roads are blocked by the rushhour traffic, but the bicycle lanes are free.
Via the B15 I come to Taufkirchen. 8 km to the east should be a campground, the only one in this district.
It is already getting dark, and because there is no sign, I miss the turnoff and have to go back 3 km.
But here I get 2 hot hamburgers and can take a hot shower.
Tomorrow I want to get to Freilassing.

In the morning it is still rather misty

A nice shortcut to Tittling

The first flowers

This means translated: cattle shed, but it is the name of a village!

A lot of water in the Danube river

I just can't pass the ice cream parlor in Neustadt

Rushhour at Landshut, but the bicycle lanes are free
